Joyce Namubiru is the General Secretary of UWOCASO’s Board of Directors, she is a Teacher at Kitende Secondary School in Entebbe Wakiso District after serving other Government schools including Entebbe Senior Secondary School. Joyce graduated from Makerere University with a bachelors’ degree in Education. She doubles as a fabric designer and Director at Hilda Designers Ltd. Prior to the Board election, Joyce a 9-year Breast cancer survivor leads patient navigation programs, community outreaches and sensitization campaigns. As a teacher of Languages she supports UWOCASO in translation and interpretation of research documents to local languages.
