Certificate in Cancer Advocacy Strategy Development from American Cancer Society, Herbert also participated and graduated in SOURCE Program- a program funded by the American Cancer Society (ACS) a program that aimed at strengthening organizations for a united response to the cancer epidemic in Uganda.

Herbert has actively participated in planning and organizing for Breast cancer fundraising activities, like Golf Tournaments, Cancer awareness dance workout 2022 to fundraise resources to sustain the organization.
Administrator in research development of Breast Health Care Guidelines for Uganda supported by University of Washington and in assessment of clinical and psychological needs of Metastatic breast cancer Patients, challenges and gaps in meeting their needs in Uganda supported by Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) From 2016 up to date he is been actively organizing and coordinating cancer awareness activities aimed at, strengthening cancer awareness campaigns about the importance of screening, breast self -examination and reporting early for treatment.
