Pink Initiative
IT IS PINK, CHECK YOUR BREASTS
The Pink initiative reminds everybody about breast cancer, provides information on early diagnosis and gives hope to breast cancer patients and survivors. More than fifty million Uganda shillings has been raised from this initiative and over one million women and patients benefited from awareness talks and counseling services since 2015. All this is possible through Pink Golf events, corporate partnerships and donations during October breast cancer awareness month.
This initiative not only hosts annual events, but is celebrated throughout the year by survivors, friends, businesses, schools, and social clubs all proceeds support cancer services at UWOCASO.
